Q: Do I really “NEED” a security system? A: Yes, according to Government Agencies:
Insurance companies give the single largest discount on your homeowners insurance by having a MONITORED security system.
Q: Aren't security systems really expensive? A: No, most things today are expensive. Compared to other things, security and life-safety is more affordable than ever. They used to cost thousands of dollars up-front and today they cost hundreds. Right now, through SecurityNOW and ADT, all that you need to do is take care of the $99 activation fee and a dollar a day monitoring fee to get a state of the art home protection system fully equipped with burglary protection, police, medical, and fire emergency response, as well as hostage ambush duress.
Q: I already have smoke detectors; do I really “need” your fire protection? A: Yes, majority of homes have smoke detectors today, but unfortunately they are not the right smoke detectors to have in your home. Photo-electric smoke detectors (the ones we use) will go off minutes before the ionization smokes that everybody has in their home. Further, our fire detection devices are tied into our system so that if there were to be a fire, our system will get the fire department in-route to save life and property.
Q: Why would I want to put your carbon monoxide detectors in my home? A: Simple, if you have any type of gas appliance in your home, you should have some form of carbon monoxide detection whether it's one of ours or not. The advantage to having our monitored CO detectors is that if the home fills with this colorless, odorless, and toxic gas, we can get EMS in-route to clear the CO from the home and find the source.
Q: Do I always have to enter a code? A: No, at SecurityNOW we are using the newest technology available. Rather than entering a code, you can take advantage of our keyfob remotes and our talking remotes that will allow you to arm and disarm your system from outside the home or from your vehicle. You can even equip the remotes with a mobile panic button, lighting control, or garage door opener. |
